Week 24 - "My feet just led me..."

Hi -de- ho, familia!
Things have been going well here (mostly). This week, starting off and going in to it, wasn't the greatest. By Saturday, we still only had 2 lessons for the entire week. We were both getting really frustrated with how it was going. But on Saturday, we had a unique experience. We were on our way back for lunch, and we had the impression to return to an appartment complex that we had already left. So we quickly made our way to the complex (Shady Oaks) and got out of the car, neither of us knowing where to go, who to talk to or what to say. But we got out of the car, and my feet just led me to someone to talk to. That's really the only way I can explain it. I had this feeling to talk to this man sitting down on the railing, and so we did. It didn't feel right to talk to someone else, and he really stood out.
So we wound up talking to him, and I guess Elder McGuire has talked to him before. He says that he was baptized down in Mexico, but his records aren't in his home ward, and so we now have his birth date to look them up. But in the end, we sat down and taught a lesson to him and invited him to the Stake Conference of yesterday. And he went, too! It was so cool when he opened up the door (he had forgotten the time, so he got ready really quickly) and said, "Yo voy!" And afterwards, he said he got 5 hours of work in, though he hadn't had work for some time. He even realized on his own that it was a blessing from God from doing those things which God wants him to do. Definitely a cool experience!
For this next week: We already have appointments with a lot of members, and some return appointments to receive referrals from them. We're looking forward to doing some really good work this week!!
So that was one of my favorite experiences for this week. But also really awesome: Rosemin has her baptismal date coming up! It was moved from the 6th to the 13th for work purposes, but it's on-track. We need to keep checking up on her, just to make sure things are going well, but she's really looking forward to it! It's so cool to see someone this excited and this ready for baptism!

Well....I only have 4 minutes left, so I'd better wrap this up. Things have been going fairly well here, and I'm looking forward to this coming week.
I just want to wrap up with the words,
I LOVE YOU!!!! A infinidad - y mas alla!!!!

Con mucho amor,
Dev-i-o
